Driving
The new highway from Oaxaca City has reduced the trip to 2.5–3 hours (instead of the old 7–10 hour drive). You can also reach Puerto Escondido in about 2 hours from Huatulco, Mexico. Street parking is available near the apartments.
By Bus
For budget travelers, ADO / OCC buses from Oaxaca still run the mountain route, taking 10–12 hours.

How Punta Ox Ha Was Born
The idea for Punta Ox Ha Coastal Apartments was born from the meeting of three waters—a metaphor for the blending of three partners’ visions.
Together, we created a tranquil retreat near the surf where travelers can feel at home, whether for a weekend getaway, a remote work stay, or full immersion in the La Punta lifestyle.
Our three-story haven surrounds a pool and lush courtyard, bringing people together while offering the privacy of boutique suites.
Each apartment has its own layout and personality, perfect for solo travelers, couples, fitness lovers, surfers, and long-term digital nomads.
